What You’ll Do
- Provide high-quality emergency care to pediatric patients in a busy, high-volume ER (~55,000 visits/year)
- Collaborate with subspecialty teams, including PICU, CVICU, NICU, and hospitalists, to manage complex cases
- Work with a dedicated team, including child life specialists and pediatric social workers
- Engage in bedside teaching and supervising Pediatric, Emergency Medicine, and Family Practice residents from six programs
- Participate in training sessions and didactic teaching for Pediatric ER fellows if interested
- Utilize full scribe coverage to optimize documentation and patient care
- Enjoy a diverse range of pathology and patient acuity in a supportive, multidisciplinary environment
What You Need
Required:- Valid medical license or eligibility in Nevada
- Pediatric Emergency Medicine fellowship training (new graduates welcome)
- Strong clinical skills and a commitment to pediatric care
Preferred:- Prior emergency medicine or pediatric emergency experience
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
