What You’ll Do:
  • Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons to evaluate and diagnose musculoskeletal conditions
  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop treatment plans under supervision
  • Order, interpret diagnostic imaging and laboratory studies
  • Assist during surgical procedures and patient management pre- and post-operation
  • Educate patients and families on conditions, treatment plans, and recovery processes
  • Perform office-based procedures such as joint injections
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient care
  • Participate in rotational call coverage and team meetings
  • Adhere to hospital policies, safety protocols, and OSHA standards

What You Need:
  • Valid Physician Assistant certification (PA-C) in Vermont or eligible
  • At least 1 year of orthopedic or relevant clinical experience
  • Strong clinical and communication skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and perform sitting, standing, and walking tasks throughout shifts
  • Excellent teamwork and patient-focused attitude
