Schedule: Monday–Friday with a weekend rotation
Facility: 115-bed Skilled Nursing Facility

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapist Assistant to join a collaborative rehabilitation team in Waldorf, Maryland. This is an excellent opportunity for a PTA who enjoys hands-on patient care and wants to make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals working toward greater mobility, strength, and independence.

You'll work alongside Physical Therapists and an interdisciplinary care team to provide individualized rehabilitation services to both long-term and short-term patients. Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will:

• Implement individualized treatment programs under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist

• Provide therapeutic exercises and functional activities based on patient goals

• Assist patients with gait, mobility, balance, strength, endurance, and functional training

• Monitor patient responses to treatment and communicate changes to the supervising PT

• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, mobility, safety, and continued progress

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

• Collaborate with PTs, nursing staff, caregivers, and other members of the interdisciplinary team

• Encourage and motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation journey

• Provide safe, compassionate, and patient-centered care

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program

• Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant in Maryland

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Dependable, compassionate, and patient-focused

• Ability to work effectively in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation environment
