We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapist Assistant to join a collaborative rehabilitation team in Mitchellville, Maryland. This full-time opportunity is ideal for a PTA who enjoys hands-on patient care, meaningful patient relationships, and working alongside a supportive clinical team.

You'll help patients improve strength, mobility, balance, endurance, and functional independence while working under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist. Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will:

• Implement individualized treatment programs under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist

• Provide therapeutic exercises and functional activities based on patient goals

• Assist patients with gait, mobility, balance, strength, endurance, and functional training

• Monitor patient responses to treatment and communicate relevant changes to the supervising PT

• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, mobility, safety, and continued progress

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

• Collaborate with PTs and other members of the interdisciplinary healthcare team

• Encourage and motivate patients throughout their rehabilitation journey

• Provide safe, compassionate, and patient-centered care

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program

• Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant in Maryland

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Dependable, compassionate, and patient-focused

• Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative clinical team
