What You’ll Do
- Provide expert care for neonates in a Level-III NICU, including high-frequency ventilation, nitric oxide, and brain cooling.
- Collaborate with attending Neonatologists and a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans.
- Monitor patient status continuously and respond promptly to clinical needs.
- Assist with procedures and support clinical interventions.
- Document patient progress and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
- Engage in clinical teaching for medical students at Mercer Medical School.
- Contribute to maintaining a hospital environment recognized for nursing excellence and patient safety.
What You Need
- Required: NNP board certification (FNP, PNP, or other NP certifications not accepted).
- Preferred: 2+ years of direct experience as an NNP.
- Key skills: neonatology expertise, strong teamwork, critical thinking, excellent communication.
- Valid Georgia license or eligible for licensure.
