What You'll Do:- Perform daily rounds on newborns in the Level I nursery
- Attend deliveries when requested
- Stabilize, manage, and coordinate transport of newborns needing higher-level care
- Collaborate with a team of NNPs, Neonatologists, and support staff
- Provide leadership and expert care in a newly opened, state-of-the-art unit
- Support the smooth operation of a facility expected to manage approximately 600 deliveries annually
What You Need:- Valid NNP Board Certification (FNP, PNP, or other NP certifications not accepted)
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience as an NNP
- Proven ability to handle neonatal acuity and fast-paced situations
- Strong communication and team collaboration skills
About the Assignment:Join a dedicated team at a new neonatal unit at CaroMont Regional Medical Center Belmont, scheduled to open in late 2024. This facility will feature a 10-bed LDRP Level I nursery, serving a diverse patient population with an anticipated 600 deliveries per year. The NNPs will work closely with a larger team based at the nearby Level III NICU in Gastonia, providing excellent opportunities for professional growth and collaboration.
