What You’ll Do

• Lead the development and growth of the cardiac surgery program at Henry Ford St. John Hospital
• Oversee clinical operations, quality improvement, and patient safety initiatives
• Lead, mentor, and support cardiothoracic surgery team members
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, innovative cardiovascular care
• Participate in academic activities, including resident education and research opportunities
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards
• Drive program expansion through strategic planning and stakeholder engagement

What You Need
Required:

• Board Certified in Cardiothoracic Surgery
• Michigan medical license (or eligible for licensure)
• Proven excellence in adult cardiac surgery
• Leadership experience in a clinical or academic setting
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Preferred:

• Experience in program development and faculty recruitment
• Academic involvement or scholarly achievements
• Interest in surgical education and mentorship
