Job Title: Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) / Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Outpatient Practice.

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide essential clinical support and compassionate patient care in an outpatient office setting. In this role, you will work closely with nursing staff and physicians to conduct clinical tasks, perform laboratory procedures, manage exam room workflows, and assist with patient communications while maintaining strict privacy standards.
Compensation & Benefits:
  • Pay Rate: Up to $22.00 / hour (commensurate with experience).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clinical Procedures: Perform blood draws, administer injections and pediatric immunizations, conduct routine lab tests, and take vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, temperature, respiration).
  • Patient Flow & Prep: Escort patients to exam rooms, assist with preparation for physical exams or minor procedures, and maintain a calm, professional, and reassuring environment.
  • Exam Room & Inventory Maintenance: Clean, sanitize, and stock examination rooms; reorder medical supplies as needed to maintain baseline inventory.
  • Clinical Documentation & Administration: Document clinical findings, complete referral forms and lab requisitions, return patient telephone inquiries as directed by physicians, and assist with medical records maintenance.
  • Interdisciplinary Support: Work as an active, adaptable member of the clinical care team, assisting physicians during treatments and performing other related duties within scope.
Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Education & Training: Completion of a formal Medical Assistant curriculum or accredited LPN program [Required].
  • Clinical Experience: Minimum 3+ years of demonstrated relevant experience as an MA or LPN in a clinical setting [Required].
  • Certifications:
    • Active Medical Assistant Certification (CMA/RMA/CCMA) OR Active LPN License [Required].
    • Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification [Required].
  • Core Competencies: Strong phlebotomy and clinical skills, exceptional discretion and HIPAA compliance, professional composure under pressure, and a collaborative team attitude.
