FT Perfusion Services - Variable work schedule Ability to work on Call required
Education - Bachelor's degree from an accredited Perfusion program required
Certification/License: Must have the following at time of hire/transfer - Cert Clinical Perfusionist (CCP) and Licensed Perfusionist (PERFUSIO) - Texas Medical Board
Experience - 1-2 Years of intermediate level Perfusion experience preferred. We're seeking professionals with a desire to teach, train cardiology fellows, and share perfusion knowledge base with fellows, team members, and students during clinical rotations.
The Perfusionist provides patient care in the form of operation of the extracorporeal circulation equipment during any medical situation where it is necessary to help or replace a person''s cardiopulmonary, circulatory, or respiratory function.

Job Summary
The Perfusionist operates extracorporeal circulation equipment to support or replace cardiopulmonary, circulatory, or respiratory function. Selects the right equipment and techniques for treatment, measurement, or supplementation of the cardiopulmonary and circulatory system. Monitors, examines, and treats physiologic conditions safely under a physician''s order and supervision.

QUALIFICATIONS
Cert Clinical Perfusionist (CCP)
Licensed Perfusionist (PERFUSIO)
Basic Life Support (BLS): BLS or BLS within 30 days of hire or transfer.
