Per Diem Pharmacy Technician - Mahomet, Illinois

Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification and 1+ years Pharmacy Technician experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Provide essential pharmacy support as a Pharmacy Technician during a two-day assignment in the Champaign, Illinois area. This Per Diem opportunity requires a detail-oriented individual to help deliver excellent pharmacy services and support efficient prescription processing at a retail pharmacy setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately enter patient information and prescription orders into the pharmacy computer system.
• Assist pharmacists with dispensing prescriptions following all safety and accuracy protocols.
• Manage over-the-counter (OTC) inventory to maintain adequate stock levels.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers with their pharmacy needs.
• Resolve prescription plan adjudication issues by effectively communicating with third-party payers.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active and clear Pharmacy Technician license in Illinois is mandatory.
• At least 1 year of retail pharmacy experience.
• Familiarity with Pioneer Rx software preferred but not required.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Schedule & Location:

• Assignment Dates: September 15 through September 16.
• Shift: 1st shift, 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM.
• Location: Champaign, Illinois area.
