Providence Womens and Childrens Services is seeking board-certified Physician to join Providence Newborn Hospitalist Service in a Per Diem role.

You will be part of a collaborative team of nurse practitioners, nurses, and support staff as you provide inpatient rounding and newborn resuscitation services for the Newborn Hospitalist team. Ideal candidates are either Pediatric, Family Medicine, Medicine-Pediatrics, or Neonatal Physicians. In this role, you will see patients at both Providence Newberg Medical Center and Providence Willamette Falls Medical Center.

Position Highlights:

  • Per Diem, 0.01 FTE
  • 24-hour shifts from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. at Providence Willamette Falls and 5:00 a.m. to 5:00 a.m. at Providence Newberg
  • Rounding on newborns, providing resuscitation services, taking call from home

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Board-certified Pediatric, Family Medicine, Medicine-Pediatrics, or Neonatal Physician
  • Oregon Medical License, DEA License
  • NRP certification

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Malpractice liability insurance provided by Providence

As a leader in children's health, more babies are born at Providence hospitals than any other health system in Oregon. Providence Women and Children's Services works in collaboration with the Providence Cancer Institute, Providence Heart Institute and other Providence specialty programs to provide complete, coordinated care to patients.
