Per Derm OB/GYN Physician

Overview: Northeast Medical Group, a member of Yale New Haven Health, is seeking a Per Diem OB/GYN Board Certified/Board Eligible Obstetrician-Gynecologist to join our growing Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Supervise and teach residents in all aspects of OB/GYN practice, including labor and delivery, surgery, and continuity clinic experiences.

Overview: Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality obstetrical and gynecologic care across inpatient and outpatient settings.
• Supervise and teach residents in all aspects of OB/GYN practice, including labor and delivery, surgery, and continuity clinic experiences.
• Educate Yale School of Medicine medical students in both clinical and didactic settings.
• Provide oversight and collaboration with advanced practice providers.
• Support departmental committees and clinical quality initiatives. 
• Participate in faculty development and continuing education programs. 

Qualifications:

Required

• Medical Degree (MD or DO). 
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Current Connecticut medical license or ability to obtain licensure.
• Eligibility for specialty-appropriate clinical privileges and medical staff appointment. 
• Strong clinical skills in general obstetrics and gynecology, including minimally invasive surgery. 
• Experience or interest in resident and medical student education.

Preferred

• Interest or experience in gynecologic ultrasound.
• Experience with clinical research methodology and statistics. 
• Interest in family planning services.
