Position Overview
CLIENT is seeking an expert PeopleSoft Student Financials / Student Accounts
Consultant to design, build, and deploy an automated, end-to-end API integration
between the Florida Prepaid College Plan system and PeopleSoft Student
Administration.
The ideal candidate possesses deep functional and technical expertise in Florida
Prepaid billing processes, experience with PeopleSoft Student Financials integration
frameworks, and a commitment to delivering a robust, clean solution that CLIENT IT
personnel can seamlessly maintain moving forward.
Key Responsibilities
Process Automation & Integration Design: Design and execute a fully
automated, scalable API integration connecting the Florida Prepaid system to
PeopleSoft Student Accounts.
Technical Implementation: Configure, build, and test APIs, Application Engine
processes, Integration Broker interfaces, and background jobs to streamline
student billing, invoicing, and payment processing.
System Optimization: Eliminate manual data entry and repetitive workflows
associated with Florida Prepaid file transfers and updates.
Knowledge Transfer & Documentation: Deliver comprehensive technical
documentation, architecture diagrams, operational runbooks, and hands-on
training to ensure CLIENT IT personnel can independently maintain,
troubleshoot, and support the integration long-term.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with CLIENT's IT and Student
Financials teams to align technical delivery with functional requirements and
business rules.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Florida Prepaid Expertise: Demonstrated direct experience with the Florida
Prepaid College Plan system, file structures, billing mechanisms, and API
protocols.
PeopleSoft Student Accounts / Financials: Advanced, proven experience
implementing, customizing, and supporting PeopleSoft Campus Solutions
(Student Financials / Student Accounts).
Integration Technologies: Proficiency in PeopleSoft Integration Broker,
REST/SOAP APIs, PeopleCode, Application Engine, Component Interfaces, and
SQL.
Maintainability Focus: Proven track record of writing clean, well-documented
code that conforms to higher education IT standards and best practices.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior consulting experience within the Florida College System (FCS) or State
University System (SUS) of Florida.
Experience delivering complete process automation in higher-education billing
and administrative systems.
