ECLARO is currently seeking a talented
PeopleSoft Functional Analyst to join a high-impact PeopleSoft project supporting a leading public-sector organization in
Seattle, WA. This is a direct-hire opportunity with our client.

Required Qualifications: - Core Functional Skills:
- Deep knowledge of PeopleSoft HCM and/or FSCM modules.
- Ability to perform fit/gap analysis and lead working sessions.
- Ability to translate business requirements into functional designs.
- Technical Functional Skills:
- PeopleSoft Query.
- Understanding of workflow (Notification Composer).
- Understanding of module configuration.
- Familiarity with integrations (CI, Integration Broker etc.).
- Project & Delivery Skills:
- Create functional deliverables (design docs, scripts).
- Support testing end-to-end.
- Provide SME-level guidance on business processes.
- Participate in scope, governance, and change management.
- Consulting Behavior:
- Strong communication.
- Cross-functional collaboration.
- Ability to explain downstream impacts across modules.
- Alignment with expectations for functional leadership and business solutions.
Responsibilities:- Requirements & Fit/Gap Analysis:
- Lead Fit/Gap analysis sessions with business Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to understand requirements and map them to PeopleSoft functionality.
- Perform impact analysis for implementing new features.
- Hands-on understanding of utilized modules and cross functional business processes/integrations.
- Configuration & Functional Design:
- Design, configure, and test PeopleSoft modules, ensuring alignment with business processes and integrated systems.
- Develop Functional specification documents.
- Work through functional solution designs, including integrations, data conversions, and workflow impacts.
- Develop:
- i. Functional Design Documents
- ii. Configuration Documents
- iii. Functional Test Scripts
- Testing Expertise (supporting all phases of testing):
- Develop and execute test plans (System, integration and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Define test scenarios and scripts.
- Participate in UAT and validate results for business readiness.
- Integration and Cross-System Understanding:
- Integration Broker flows.
- Component Interfaces (CI).
- Data exchange patterns (inbound/outbound inventory, payroll data, person updates).
- Pain points such as sequence numbering, validation flows, and audit implications.
- Documentation & Project Governance:
- Consultant must ensure that all functional deliverables are complete, versioned, and ready for governance and audits. Consultants should contribute to:
- i. Scope documents
- ii. Project plan inputs
- iii. Risk registers
- iv. Change order considerations
- Lead module working sessions with SMEs:
- v. Develop solution designs for:
- Business functionality
- Integrations
- Data conversions
- Support testing and resolve issues
Pay Rate: $110.00/Hour
