Overview
SOSi is seeking a skilled PeopleSoft Payroll Developer to lead the end-to-end design, development, configuration, and implementation of PeopleSoft HCM Payroll solutions. In this role, you''ll ensure accurate, compliant, and efficient payroll processing by leveraging deep expertise in PeopleSoft tools, Application Engine, Component Interfaces, SQR, and Integration Broker.
You'll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams-HR, Benefits, and Finance-to deploy scalable Payroll solutions, including Payroll WorkCenter, complex integrations, and custom reporting. This is a hands-on technical opportunity to contribute to a mission-critical initiative that directly aligns with our customer's enterprise objectives and digital transformation strategy.
Essential Job Duties
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Human Resources Technology, or equivalent experience.
3-5+ years of experience as a PeopleSoft HCM/Payroll Developer.
Ability to obtain and retain a Top Secret clearance.
Strong proficiency with PeopleSoft development tools, including:
PeopleCode, Application Designer, Application Engine, Component Interface, Event Mapping
SQR / COBOL (payroll batch processes)
BI Publisher, PS Query
In-depth knowledge of PeopleSoft Payroll processes, including pay calendars, deductions, earnings, garnishments, retro pay, and tax updates.
Experience with Payroll WorkCenter setup, customization, and administration.
Strong SQL and database skills (Oracle preferred).
Solid understanding of payroll compliance, tax regulations, and audit requirements.
Ability to work under tight payroll deadlines with strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
