PeopleSoft Consultant
Summary
This role will support and enhance PeopleSoft Financials by combining functional finance knowledge with hands-on technical development. This consultant will partner with Finance and IT teams to maintain system stability, improve processes, and deliver ongoing enhancements.
Responsibilities
- Configure and support PeopleSoft Financials with a strong focus on General Ledger.
- Translate business needs into functional and technical solutions.
- Build and maintain PeopleSoft objects including PeopleCode, Application Engine, component interfaces, SQR, and BI Publisher.
- Investigate and resolve production issues impacting financial operations.
- Support month-end and year-end close activities.
- Assist with system updates, patches, and functional enhancements.
Requirements
- Extensive experience supporting PeopleSoft Financials in a techno-functional capacity.
- Hands-on development experience using PeopleTools, PeopleCode, and SQL.
- Solid understanding of core accounting and financial workflows.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to troubleshoot and solve complex issues.
This is a remote 12+ month Contract opportunity with our Kansas-based client.
