Peoplesoft Business Systems Analyst (Finance)

Job Title: Business Systems Analyst – PeopleSoft Financials

Location: Saint Paul, MN (Hybrid - Remote with onsite presence as needed (1 day/week))

Duration: April 2026 – February 2028 | Full-Time (40 hrs./week)

Role Summary:
Served as a senior Business Systems Analyst supporting PeopleSoft Financials, partnering with business stakeholders, technical teams, and developers to deliver functional and technical solutions aligned with financial and HR business processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conducted functional and technical analysis for PeopleSoft Financials modules, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements.
• Translated business needs into detailed functional and technical specifications to support system design, configuration, and development activities.
• Performed impact analysis for system enhancements, fixes, and upgrades across PeopleSoft Financials and HRMS modules.
• Led defect triage efforts by analyzing issues, identifying root causes, and coordinating resolution with development and support teams.
• Developed and executed test plans and test scripts; supported System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Validated data integrity and supported interfaces, integrations, and reporting solutions using PS Query and SQL.
• Assisted with report development and ad‑hoc data analysis to support finance and operational reporting needs.
• Maintained comprehensive documentation including business requirements, process flows, and technical specifications in accordance with organizational standards and compliance requirements.
• Worked in a hybrid environment, collaborating with distributed teams while independently managing assigned work streams and production support issues.
• Utilized ticketing systems to track, manage, and communicate status updates on enhancements, defects, and production support items.

Key Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience as a PeopleSoft Business Systems Analyst
• Strong background supporting PeopleSoft Financial applications
• Experience in public‑sector environments
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
