PeopleSoft Application Developer - Farmington Hills, MI (Hybrid, C2C)
About the Role
Join our dynamic Application Development Team as a PeopleSoft Application Developer, working on a cutting-edge, customized application centered on the PeopleSoft Financials Suite and robust external system integrations. This is an exciting opportunity for an analytical problem solver who thrives in a collaborative hybrid environment (minimum 4 days onsite) and is looking to grow their technical expertise and career within a leading technology-driven organization.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain applications using PeopleSoft Application Designer and Application Engine
- Create and optimize reports and data extracts with SQR for PeopleSoft and BI Publisher
- Integrate external REST services to enhance system functionality and connectivity
- Write, review, and optimize complex Oracle SQL queries for high-performance applications
- Collaborate with business analysts and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues to ensure seamless application performance
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives
Required Skills and Experience
- 5+ years of hands-on experience as a PeopleSoft Application Developer
- Proficiency in PeopleSoft Application Designer, Application Engine, SQR for PeopleSoft, BI Publisher, External REST Services, and Oracle SQL
- Strong analytical reasoning and critical thinking abilities
- Track record of effective communication and collaborative teamwork
Preferred Skills
- Experience with PeopleSoft Financials Suite
- Familiarity with Agile Methodology
- Exposure to Phire migration and versioning tools
