Description

Symmetrio is recruiting a full-time on-site People Operations Specialist for our client, a medical device company based in Littleton, MA. This role will support day-to-day People Operations activities while serving as a key resource for Talent Acquisition and employee support.

The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working across HR operations, recruiting, employee communications, and special projects. They will work closely with the People Operations team, employees, managers, and external partners to support a positive and efficient employee experience.

This is a full-time on-site position based in Littleton, MA, offering $70,000–$80,000 annually, along with a competitive benefits package.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Sr. Manager of People Operations to support the department’s daily HR operations, processes, and activities in alignment with company practices and culture.
  • Support employees and external immigration counsel with documentation and administrative tasks related to U.S. work visa sponsorship, ensuring documents are accurate and completed on time.
  • Coordinate with employees and managers on travel and business visa requirements for travel to and from the U.S.
  • Manage and support onboarding and offboarding activities for new and departing employees.
  • Assist the Sr. Manager of People Operations with developing, implementing, and maintaining HR processes and procedures.
  • Draft and distribute clear company-wide communications, including new hire announcements, company events, and other HR-related updates.
  • Collect and analyze HR data to identify trends, support decision-making, and recommend solutions to HR operational challenges.
  • Provide employees with basic guidance and support regarding HR processes, procedures, and related questions.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR documentation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.
  • 2–3 years of HR administrative or People Operations experience.
  • Working knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations.
  • Experience with HRIS platforms and intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Experience supporting Talent Acquisition, onboarding/offboarding, employee records, or other HR operations.
  • Experience working with immigration or employment-related documentation is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to use AI tools to improve HR processes and efficiency.
  • PHR certification is a plus.
  • Mandarin language skills are preferred but not required.
