About the Role:

The People Operations & Recruitment Coordinator plays a pivotal role in supporting the human resources and talent acquisition functions within the organization. This position is responsible for coordinating recruitment activities, managing candidate communications, and ensuring a seamless hiring process that aligns with company values and goals. The coordinator will also assist in various people operations tasks, including onboarding, employee engagement initiatives, and maintaining accurate HR records. By acting as a liaison between candidates, hiring managers, and HR leadership, this role ensures a positive experience for all stakeholders involved. Ultimately, the coordinator contributes to building a strong, diverse, and motivated workforce that drives organizational success.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in recruitment, human resources, or people operations.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HR information systems (HRIS).
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Experienced in customer service or public facing environments

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced corporate environment or startup.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and best practices in recruitment and HR.
  • Certification in HR or recruitment (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR, AIRS).
  • Proficiency with HR analytics and reporting tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
  • Experience in a health care or non-profit setting highly preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate end-to-end recruitment processes including job postings, candidate screening, interview scheduling, and communication.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
  • Maintain applicant tracking systems and ensure all candidate data is accurate and up to date.
  • Support onboarding activities by preparing new hire documentation, facilitating orientation sessions, and ensuring a smooth transition for new employees.
  • Assist with employee engagement programs, benefits administration, and other people operations initiatives as needed.
  • Generate recruitment and HR reports to provide insights on hiring metrics and workforce trends.
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and internal policies throughout recruitment and people operations processes.

The required skills enable the coordinator to efficiently manage recruitment workflows, ensuring timely and effective candidate engagement and selection. Strong communication skills are essential for liaising with candidates, hiring managers, and external partners, fostering clear and professional interactions. Organizational skills help maintain accurate records and manage multiple recruitment and people operations tasks concurrently.
