Role Overview:
The People & Culture (HR) Generalist is like the friendly face and helpful hand of the People & Culture (HR) department, working diligently to keep everything running smoothly. This role is super versatile, handling everything from welcoming new team members through recruitment, making sure everyone gets paid accurately with payroll processing, and being a go-to person for any People & Culture (HR) questions from employees and managers. We're looking for someone who's organized, pays attention to detail, and is always one step ahead, with a good grasp of People & Culture (HR) basics. If you're a great communicator, good with people, and can keep things confidential, you'll fit right in! As an People & Culture (HR) Generalist, you'll be key in making sure our employees have a great experience, whether it's helping them get settled in, supporting their growth, or making sure they are accurately paid on time. You'll also play a big part in keeping our company culture positive and making sure everyone feels engaged and valued.

Location: Hybrid - Portland Metro
Salary: $70,000 per year
Reports to: Director of People & Culture
Work Hours: Full Time, Hours Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:00pm (your local time)
Key Responsibilities
Perform a broad range of People & Culture (HR) Generalist duties and responsibilities, including but not limited to the following:
Manage full-cycle recruitment and onboarding processes for all positions, including candidate sourcing, resume screening, interview coordination, and preparation of offer letters for leadership approval
Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, People & Culture (HR) policies, and regulatory requirements
Support employee relations by fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture through effective communication, employee support, and an open-door approach
Administer employee benefits programs and respond to employee inquiries regarding People & Culture (HR) policies and benefits
Maintain accurate employee records, People & Culture (HR) documentation, and personnel files in accordance with company policies and legal requirements
Manage and maintain HRIS systems to ensure accurate employee data, reporting, compliance, and seamless People & Culture (HR) operations
Monitor People & Culture (HR) trends, industry best practices, and regulatory updates to support continuous improvement within the People & Culture (HR) function
Assist with additional People & Culture (HR) initiatives, projects, and responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications & Criteria
Minimum 3-5 years of People & Culture (HR) generalist experience, with a strong focus on full-cycle recruiting
Proficient understanding of federal and United States employment laws
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and embrace change
Proficient in Google Suite
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration or related field, preferred but not required
