THE ROLE

As our People Coordinator, youll play a pivotal role on our North American People & Culture team while building a strong foundation for a career in human resources. Supporting both the AllSaints and John Varvatos brands and reporting directly to the Head of People Partnering, NA, you will touch every stage of the employee lifecycle-- from onboarding logistics to system administration and compliance. You'll work hand-in-hand with our HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition Recruiter, and People Leadership to deliver a top-tier employee experience, keep operations running smoothly, and actively take on expanding responsibilities as your HR expertise grows.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

• Input and maintain all employee lifecycle changes-- including new hires, status updates, transfers, and separations-- in internal databases with a high degree of accuracy.
• Organize and archive confidential personnel files and employee records in compliance with data privacy regulations.
• Produce and distribute regular operational reporting and communication, including team rosters, milestone reminders, and compliance follow-up.
• Support Talent Acquisition by posting open positions, drafting offer letters, initiating background checks, and coordinating system access for new hires.
• Serve as the primary contact for manager and employee inquiries regarding company policies, people processes, and employment verifications.
• Conduct routine quality checks and audits to ensure continuous departmental compliance with local labor regulations and company standards.
• Participate in People & Culture initiatives, employee recognition programs, and special team projects.
• Handle administrative tasks and operational requests as needed to support the broader People team, including payroll and benefits.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive employee and business information with utmost discretion.
• Uphold and reflect company brand integrity and values in all internal and external communications.
• This role will have a dotted reporting line into the Head of People Partnering for John Varvatos.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• High level of personal integrity with a proven track record of handling sensitive, confidential employee data responsibly.
• High energy, positive attitude, and a strong sense of initiative with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to prioritize competing tasks, manage deadlines, and maintain focus under pressure.
• Meticulous attention to detail with strong follow-up and follow-through habits to ensure data accuracy and operational consistency.
• Eager to learn new concepts quickly, embrace organizational changes, and expand HR skill sets over time.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional demeanor when interacting with employees and stakeholders.
• Experience with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive) and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Prior exposure to HRIS platforms or applicant tracking system is a plus.

EXPERIENCE

• 1+ years of experience in HR, people operations, or recruitment support.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent hands-on administrative experience.
• Retail environment experience preferred
• Proven track record of delivering responsive, high-quality administrative support to internal teams and employees.

This is a full time hourly position available at a rate of: $25.00 - $28.00 USD/Hour.

ABOUT THE LOCATION

Our North America region is made up of 71 retail locations across the U.S. and Canada, with our flagship store in New York City. We are primarily based out of our Los Angeles studios, bringing our brand's iconic aesthetic to West Hollywood, CA.
