- Minimum of 5 years of engineering recruiting
- Agency moved in house is ideal.
Job Description:
- 5+ years of full life cycle technical recruiting (e.g Software Engineering, Mobile Developers, Managers)
- Ability to interface with all levels of the organization with respect and diplomacy
- Highly driven, self-directed, and a desire to work quickly without compromising attention to detail and accuracy
- An expert with headhunting tactics and LinkedIn Recruiter
- Passionate about the candidate experience
- Ability to effectively support business leaders while managing multiple priorities
- High energy, growth mindset, and a positive attitude
- Able to move quickly, adapt to change, and anticipate talent needs
- Strong mix of problem-solving and interpersonal communication skills, enabling you to thrive in a highly collaborative and fast-paced environment
- Lead the full-cycle recruitment process for technical roles-from sourcing and screening to offer negotiation and onboarding
- Partner closely with hiring managers to understand team needs, define role requirements, and craft compelling job descriptions
- Deliver exceptional candidate experiences at every stage of the hiring journey
- Analyze recruiting metrics and provide actionable insights to continuously improve hiring efficiency and quality
- Collaborate with leadership to align hiring strategies with business goals
Maintain accurate candidate records and support employer branding initiatives
Purpose of this team:
- Team supports CNN engineering recruiting, working with CTO of CNN and entire org, day to day this person will work on an average of 4 recs at a time, getting a JD, intake, possible sourcing, reviewing applicants, preparing candidates for interview
- Negotiating Offers, working with HR
- Understanding Software Developers and managers.
- Hire mainly in Ottawa and NY
