Job Summary (List Format) – Pension Calculations Specialist:- Calculate pension and related benefits, including complex retirement, survivor, and account adjustments.- Ensure data integrity and compliance with IRS regulations for all payouts and financial reporting.- Research and verify financial transactions, reporting systems, and member information for accuracy.- Communicate with employers to verify documents, resolve inquiries, and provide member support.- Utilize computer systems to retrieve data and process payments, including non-standard processing.- Apply knowledge of ASRS statutes, IRS regulations, and automated disbursement systems to daily tasks.- Use advanced Excel and relational database skills for data analysis and processing.- Work efficiently under strict guidelines and deadlines in a high-volume environment.- Maintain excellent written and verbal communication for professional correspondence.- Preferred: Experience in financial institutions, banking, or accounts receivable/processing.- Background checks and drug screenings required; local candidates only.- Remote position with occasional in-office requirement.
