Successful candidates will be comfortable working independently in the field while representing municipal clients fairly, consistently, and professionally. Current certification as a Pennsylvania Sewage Enforcement Officer is preferred. Candidates with closely related experience who can obtain and maintain certification will also be considered.Strong knowledge of the Pennsylvania Sewage Facilities Act (Act 537) and 25 Pa. Code Chapters 71 through 73.Experience performing and interpreting soil testing, percolation tests, and site evaluations.Ability to review and evaluate sewage permit applications for technical and regulatory compliance.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in recordkeeping and reporting.Strong written and verbal communication skills when working with applicants, municipalities, agencies, and colleagues.Experience in construction, plumbing, soils, surveying, or environmental inspection preferred.College-level coursework in environmental science, biology, geology, or a related field preferred.Valid driver's license and the ability to travel to project sites throughout the Lehigh Valley and surrounding areas. Currently Serving as an SEO?We welcome applications from professionals currently working in municipal government, consulting, environmental services, code enforcement, or related fields.
