Job Summary (List Format):
- Local Candidates Only: Must currently reside locally, be available for in-person interviews within 1 week, and able to start within 2 weeks of offer.
- Form Processing: Handle and review incoming AZ Forms 285 and 290 for accuracy and completeness.
- Data Entry Preparation: Prepare and process Power of Attorney (POA) and Penalty Abatement forms for data entry or team inventory.
- Documentation Management: Organize and securely store all forms and related actions (paper, email, fax).
- Research & Issue Resolution: Investigate and resolve issues/questions related to POA and prescreening.
- Customer Service: Serve as point-of-contact and provide basic (tier 1) assistance to taxpayers regarding form completion.
- Case Escalation: Escalate complex taxpayer cases/inquiries to a senior team member.
- Mail Processing: Process incoming mail as assigned (onsite requirement).
- General Office Duties: Perform other administrative tasks as needed (typing, filing, using office equipment, 10-key entry).
- Preferred Background: Associate's degree or equivalent experience.
- Required Skills: Basic administrative and office skills, including computer proficiency and data entry.
