Forklift Operator –  Birdseed

Location: Greenfield, MO
Employment Type: Full-Time
Shift: 2nd Shift, Monday–Friday, 4:00pm-12:30am
Pay: $15.15/hr  




Position Summary 

Penmac Staffing is seeking dependable and experienced Forklift Operators for a birdseed production and packaging facility in Greenfield, MO. This position involves operating forklifts to transport materials, supply production lines, and move finished products throughout the facility. 

Ideal candidates will have previous forklift experience, strong attention to safety, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. 


Key Responsibilities 

• 
  Safely operate forklifts to transport raw materials and finished products. 
  
• 
  Supply production lines with materials needed for packaging operations. 
  
• 
  Move pallets of packaged birdseed from production areas to designated storage locations. 
  
• 
  Load and unload trucks and trailers as needed. 
  
• 
  Stack, organize, and stage pallets for storage or shipment. 
  
• 
  Ensure materials and products are handled carefully to prevent damage. 
  
• 
  Perform routine forklift inspections and report equipment concerns. 
  
• 
  Maintain organized warehouse and production areas. 
  
• 
  Follow all workplace safety procedures and forklift operating guidelines. 
  
• 
  Assist with general warehouse or production duties as needed.
   
  

Qualifications & Requirements

• 
  Previous forklift operating experience preferred. 
  
• 
  Experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or production environment preferred. 
  
• 
  Ability to safely maneuver forklifts in areas with employees, equipment, and materials. 
  
• 
  Good attention to detail and awareness of surroundings. 
  
• 
  Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 
  
• 
  Dependable attendance and strong work ethic. 
  
• 
  Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift materials as required. 
  
• 
  Willingness to assist with additional production or warehouse tasks when needed.
