About the OpportunityOur client is seeking a PEMB Estimator to join their Oklahoma team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys reviewing construction documents, preparing accurate quotations, and working closely with customers and internal departments throughout the estimating process.
The position offers the opportunity to work on a wide variety of commercial metal building projects while collaborating with engineering, drafting, project management, and sales.
Responsibilities- Review architectural and structural drawings for PEMB projects
- Prepare complete building quotations using Metal Building Software (MBS)
- Interpret project specifications, loading requirements, and design criteria
- Develop accurate pricing and proposal packages
- Coordinate with engineering, drafting, project management, and sales throughout the estimating process
- Respond to customer questions and support projects from concept through award
- Manage multiple bid opportunities while meeting deadlines
Qualifications- Experience estimating pre-engineered metal buildings (PEMB)
- MBS (Metal Building Software) experience strongly preferred
- Ability to read architectural and structural construction drawings
- Strong math, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
