We are a well-established regional healthcare system serving communities throughout East Tennessee. Our rehabilitation team provides high-quality, patient-centered care across a variety of specialties in a collaborative outpatient environment.

We are expanding our rehabilitation services and building a new pelvic health program. We are looking for an experienced Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist who is excited about the opportunity to not only provide exceptional patient care, but also help shape, build and grow a new service line.

Job Details

We are seeking a Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist to join our outpatient rehabilitation team in the Athens, TN area.

This individual will play an important role in the development and growth of a new pelvic health service line. The ideal candidate will bring strong pelvic-floor experience, clinical confidence and an interest in helping establish and expand the program.

Responsibilities include:

• Perform initial and ongoing patient evaluations and assessments
• Develop individualized plans of care based on each patient's condition, goals and needs
• Provide 1:1 physical therapy treatments in an outpatient setting
• Evaluate and treat patients with pelvic-floor and pelvic-health conditions
• Develop individualized treatment programs designed to improve function, reduce pain and improve quality of life
• Establish measurable patient goals and monitor progress throughout treatment
• Document treatment plans, progress and plans for reevaluation
• Collaborate with other rehabilitation and healthcare professionals
• Help support the development and growth of the pelvic health program
• Provide guidance and supervision to PTAs, students and support personnel as appropriate

Qualifications:

• Current Tennessee Physical Therapist license
• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
• Pelvic-floor experience required
• Ideally 3+ years of pelvic-floor experience
• Orthopedic experience preferred
• BLS certification at time of hire
• Strong communication and patient-care skills
• Interest in helping build and grow a pelvic health service line
