Position Overview:
The Permanent Supportive Housing Peer Supervisor oversees the implementation and day to day operations of Peer Support services that are part of Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) services funded by the HUD PSH Continuum of Care program for adults and families experiencing unsheltered homelessness, most of whom have a disabling condition and a history of homelessness. This position provides supervision and oversight for Peer Support Specialists providing housing placement and long-term housing retention services in the community. The position is responsible for extensive collaboration with multiple NARA NW programs and partner agencies to ensure effective services and compliance with all grants and contracts. In addition, this position is responsible for ensuring all PSH services incorporate an Integrated Care approach that focuses on cultural, physical, and emotional well-being. Approaches utilized by NARA NW's PSH programs include Assertive Engagement and Housing First principles. The Peer Supervisor works cooperatively with other program supervisors and managers to ensure consistent quality of services.
