Pediatric Respiratory Unit - Respiratory Therapist - $2980 per week.

Shift: 3:00 PM - 1:00 AM

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Pediatric Respiratory Unit experience.

• 3 months of Epic experience is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Declinations not accepted.

• Flu vaccination required for submission. Declinations not accepted.

• Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

1 manager reference from within the last 6 months OR 2 charge nurse references from within the last 6 months (One reference must be from most recent employment)

Required Skills/Experience: Must have centrifuging, aliquoting, distribution, working with an LIS system noted in work history in submission packet. 2+ years of RRT experience in the Pediatric Critical Care arena (PICU/NICU/CCU) required. Travelers must have recent acute care Pediatric RRT experience (PICU/NICU) within the current year. RRTs must be able to work in 2 of the 4 areas at Lurie: NICU, CCU, PICU, and acute care floors.

Required Credentials: NRP is required for NICU assignments.

Unit Details: Patient ratios are based on a points system.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend.

14 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 6 months
