Experience:
• 3 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 12 months of travel experience is required.
• 3 months of Epic experience is preferred.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a license (required after submission).
• This role will require floating to multiple units
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >80 miles from facility to be submitted.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.
• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.
• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.
Pre-employment modules may be required for this role. Please upload any certifications or health documents you have to your profile to expedite your on-boarding process.
Additional Details:
Upon accepting an offer, you will be assigned Relias exams that must be taken immediately (within 48hrs). If you fail the exam twice, this may result in an immediate cancellation by the facility.
Float experience does not count towards the unit experience requirement.
Required Skills/Experience:
3 years of experience in a Level 3 or 4 NICU/PICU is required.
Unit Details:
Patient population is pediatric.
Supports patients on ECMO in the PICU.
Shift & Scheduling:
Candidates need to be flexible with schedules.
Every other weekend.
One call shift in 6 weeks.
Provider must arrive at the Facility within 30 minutes of receiving call.
The minimum call-back period is two (2) hours.
5 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/24/2026, 12/25/2026, 12/31/2026, 10/31/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1
2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months
Certifications:
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program – 8th Edition)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
• RRT-NPS (Neonatal/Pediatric Specialty)
• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
