Pediatric Private Duty Nurse (RN/LPN)
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 4:00 PM – 8:00 PMLocation: Blackstock, South Carolina
Best Care Home Services is seeking a compassionate and experienced
Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide skilled nursing care for a pediatric client with a
traumatic brain injury (TBI). We are looking for a dedicated healthcare professional who is passionate about pediatric care and committed to providing safe, attentive, and individualized support.
The ideal candidate will have
previous pediatric nursing experience and feel comfortable caring for children with complex medical needs. This position requires strong assessment skills, attention to detail, and the ability to provide quality care while promoting the child’s comfort, safety, and overall well-being.
Responsibilities Include:
- Provide skilled nursing care according to the individualized plan of care
- Monitor and assess the child’s condition and report changes appropriately
- Assist with maintaining a safe and supportive environment
- Provide care related to the child’s medical needs and daily routines
- Complete accurate and timely documentation of all nursing services provided
- Communicate effectively with the family, care team, and supervising nurse
- Support developmental needs and promote the child’s quality of life
Qualifications:
Current
RN or LPN license in the state of South Carolina
Minimum of
1 year of pediatric nursing experience required Experience caring for children with complex medical needs preferred
Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills
Compassionate, dependable, and patient-focused
Ability to work independently while following the established plan of care
