Job Title: Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) – Pediatric Neurodevelopment Focus

Location: Overland Park, KS
Position Type: Part-Time (3 Days a Week: 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM – Non-Negotiable Schedule)
Compensation & Benefits: Competitive Hourly Rate + 401(k) Matching + Attendance-Based PTO Incentives
Supervision: Directly supervised by an OTR/L with 30 years of elite pediatric experience.

About Us:
We are a fast-paced, high-energy, and overwhelmingly positive neurodevelopmental center dedicated to fixing the root cause of childhood behavioral, academic, and social struggles. We reject the standard, quick-fix pharmaceutical model and instead utilize an intensive, holistic, and data-backed sensory-motor and cognitive training program. If you are a COTA who is tired of the sterile, fragmented corporate healthcare assembly line and wants to see massive, permanent breakthroughs in children's lives, this is your home.

The Opportunity for You:
We are looking for a passionate, resilient, and hungry COTA who is eager for deep professional growth and elite mentorship. You will work directly under a veteran OTR/L with 30 years of pediatric expertise. You don’t need to know our specific program day one—we provide a rigorous, fully paid 6-week training program to teach you our specialized neurodevelopmental methodologies. This is an unparalleled opportunity to build elite clinical skills that will set your career apart.

Who You Are:
  • Hungry for Growth: You want to learn, expand your clinical toolbelt, and actively appreciate constructive feedback as a tool for personal excellence, never taking it personally.
  • Resilient and Hard-Working: You possess a high level of emotional intelligence and are completely willing to work through challenging behavioral meltdowns, knowing that the ultimate breakthrough on the other side is incredibly rewarding.
  • An Elite Coach: You don’t just monitor kids; you motivate them. You have excellent communication and coaching skills to keep students engaged, ensuring they maintain perfect form during intensive exercises.
  • A Strong Observer and Communicator: You possess sharp observational skills and know how to document clinical data accurately. You communicate cleanly and transparently with co-workers and superiors.

Physical Requirements:
Because our program is heavily movement-based and sensory-motor driven, you must be able to move dynamically alongside our students.
  • Ability to get up and down from the floor with ease throughout the entire shift.
  • Comfort with routine bending, stretching, and physical agility.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds briefly and intermittently as needed for safety or equipment adjustments.

Benefits & Perks:
  • Predictable Part-Time Hours: Ideal for matching a school-year schedule or supplementing another role (3:00 PM – 7:00 PM, 3 days a week).
  • 401(k) Match: Investing in your financial future from day one.
  • Attendance-Based PTO: A unique incentive program that rewards consistency and dedication to your shifts with paid time off.
  • A Super Positive Culture: A team environment that celebrates wins, supports one another through tough days, and operates at a high level of mutual respect.
