What is ESIT?
Research shows that identifying developmental delays early and providing Early Intervention supports before age three can have a lasting impact on a child's development. Early Support for Infants and Toddlers (ESIT), Washington's Part C Early Intervention program, partners with families to provide family-centered care through natural environment services, including in-home therapy, home visits, and other community-based services. Our team of Washington State Licensed Occupational Therapists uses a parent coaching approach to help children from birth to age 3 develop skills related to eating, sleeping, walking, talking, playing, learning, relationships, and daily routines. Services are individualized through each child's Individual Family Service Plan (IFSP) and designed to support success within the family's everyday environments and activities.
