Moon Valley Pediatrics is seeking a compassionate, dedicated Certified Pediatric Nurse
Practitioner (CPNP-PC) or Certified Family Nurse Practitioner with pediatric experience (FNP-C)
to join our well-established pediatric primary care practice in West Phoenix/Avondale, AZ. This
is an exciting opportunity to step into a thriving patient panel at a practice that is actively
growing.
About the OpportunityOur Avondale practice has served the community for 5+ years and was recently acquired by a
North Phoenix-based pediatrician expanding pediatric care in the area. We're moving into a
brand-new, larger office just across the road and expanding our clinic days. We anticipate
continued growth in this area and expect to add another provider within 6 months, meaning
strong long-term stability and room for advancement for the right candidate.
What You'll Do Provide comprehensive outpatient pediatric primary care to infants, children, and
adolescents
Conduct well-child visits, sick visits, developmental screenings, and immunizations
Diagnose and manage acute and chronic pediatric conditions
Order and interpret diagnostic tests and develop treatment plans
Educate and counsel patients and families on health, wellness, and preventive care
Participate in periodic quality improvement projects sponsored by the practice
Collaborate with practice leadership as the clinic grows
Maintain accurate documentation in the Electronic Health Record (EHR)
Qualifications Education: Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing from an accredited PNP or FNP
program
Certification: Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner – Primary Care (CPNP-PC)
preferred
Licensure: Active Arizona Nurse Practitioner license (or eligibility to obtain); new
graduates welcome to apply
BLS/PALS: Current BLS certification required; PALS preferred
Clinical skills: Strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and a
commitment to warm, family-centered care
Documentation: Proficiency with accurate, timely clinical documentation for compliance
and continuity of care
