The Chautauqua Center is seeking a dedicated Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in pediatric care and advanced clinical skills, with a passion for delivering high-quality, compassionate care to children and their families. This role involves working closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive assessments, treatment plans, and ongoing management of pediatric patients within a collaborative practice setting.ResponsibilitiesConduct thorough physical examinations and health assessments for pediatric patients across various age groups, including infants, toddlers, and adolescents.Prescribe medications and treatments in accordance with state regulations and collaborative practice agreements.Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic or eClinicalWorks to document patient encounters accurately and efficiently.Manage acute and chronic conditions, including infectious diseases, asthma, allergies, and developmental concerns.Perform procedures such as suturing, venipuncture, IV insertion, tube feeding management, and spinal taps when necessary.Collaborate with healthcare professionals across disciplines to develop individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each child.Provide patient education on topics such as nutrition, immunizations, developmental milestones, and health promotion strategies.Participate in clinical research initiatives or quality improvement projects aimed at enhancing pediatric care delivery.Qualifications: Graduate of an Accredited School of NursingGraduate of an Accredited Nurse Practitioner ProgramLicensed to work in the state of New YorkBoard CertificationCPR certifiedKnowledge of current principles, methods and procedures for the delivery of medical evaluation, diagnosis and treatment in area of expertiseMinimum 1 year experience in a primary care clinicLegal authorization to work in the United States Bilingual Spanish/English strongly preferred Sensitivity in the provision of services to people of various ethnic, cultural, socioeconomic, education and lifestyle backgrounds Computer literate in a Windows-based environment A valid State Driver's license with clean records and access to insured automobile "Supportive environments, strong teams, and fulfilling purpose at TCC" The Chautauqua Center (TCC), a Community Health Center, is located on the border of Pennsylvania and Buffalo, NY centered in wine country, master breweries, more than 5 local lakes, and home of Lucille Ball and the National Comedy Center.
