POSITION SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Director of Pediatrics, the Nurse Practitioner will perform outpatient
- Newborn visits
- Sick visits
- School physicals
- Immunizations
- General pediatric procedures
- Review medical histories
- Interpret diagnostic tests
- Diagnose patient injury/illness and provide appropriate treatment and education
- Flexible shifts: Mondays - Fridays, Saturdays and Per Diem
REQUIRED EDUCATION & OTHER CREDENTIALS:
- Current and unrestricted Massachusetts Nurse Practitioner License
- DEA and Massachusetts Controlled Substance Registration
- Board Certification as a Nurse Practitioner
- Maintain current CPR/BLS Certification
- Maintain continuing medical education
PREFERRED SKILLS (Not Required):
- Proficiency in: Spanish, Portuguese, Kiche, Cape Verdean Creole
- 2+ Years Nurse Practitioner experience under a collaborative
