The Driscoll Health System is seeking a BC/BE Pediatric Nephrologist to join our well-established and growing program, with openings at both our Corpus Christi and Edinburg locations. This is an exceptional opportunity to work in a mission-driven environment dedicated to delivering the highest standard of pediatric nephrology care to the children of South Texas.
About the Pediatric Nephrology Program:
- Full range of clinical services including:
- Living and deceased donor transplantation
- Acute and chronic hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis
- Plasmapheresis and CRRT
- Home to the only freestanding pediatric hemodialysis unit in South Texas:
- Corpus Christi: 5-station unit
- Rio Grande Valley: 4-station unit
- Supported by a multidisciplinary team including:
- Experienced dialysis nurses
- Dedicated renal dietitian
- Social workers
- Child life specialists
- Active participant in:
- NAPRTCS
- SCOPE
- Midwest Pediatric Nephrology Consortium
- CKiD
- IROC
Candidate Requirements:
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Pediatrics and Pediatric Nephrology
- Eligible for medical licensure in the state of Texas
- Passion for clinical excellence, collaboration, and community-based care
