Our network includes over 250+ physicians in over 100+ clinics throughout the greater Long Beach, Los Angeles, Orange County, and Inland Empire areas.We currently have an opening for a Full-Time Pediatric Medical Assistant, in the city of Los Alamitos, CA.Job Type: Full-time, DIRECT HIREPay: $23-25 per hourHours: (30 hrs per week) Job Duties:Greet pediatric patients and their parents or guardians and verify patient informationSchedule appointments and manage patient check-in and check-outPrepare examination rooms and medical equipment for patient visitsMeasure and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, height, weight, and blood pressureAssist providers during pediatric examinations, treatments, and minor proceduresPerform routine clinical tests and screeningsObtain and update patient medical histories, allergies, and medication listsMonitor and maintain immunization records and assist with vaccine documentationAdminister vaccines and draw blood as directed by the providerMaintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulationProvide compassionate, age-appropriate care to infants, children, and adolescentsSchedule appointments, coordinate referrals, and assist with patient follow-up Qualifications and Skills:Bilingual Spanish (required).At least 1–2-year hands-on experience working as a Pediatric Medical Assistant (required).Experience with Drawing Blood and administering vaccines to children (required).CPR Certified10.8 DHProHealth Partners is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
