    Description

    We are seeking a compassionate, skilled, and dedicated Pediatric Nurse that has specialized experience with 1:1 care for medically compromised, non-verbal children, and managing feeding tubes. This is a Home Health position that offers flexible shift work and the opportunity to make a positive difference in the life of a child in need of continuous, professional care.



    Requirements

    • Provide high-quality,  1:1 personalized care to pediatric patients with complex medical needs in a home health setting.

    • Administer and monitor feeding tubes (e.g., G-tubes, J-tubes), ensuring proper placement, maintenance, and care.

    • Collaborate closely with the family to ensure comfort, safety, and well-being of the child.

    • Monitor vital signs, assist with daily living activities, and document care as required.

    • Address any concerns regarding medical equipment or patient condition promptly and accurately.

    • Maintain a respectful and professional environment while building rapport with both the child and their family.

    • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and the development of a detailed care plan in coordination with other healthcare


    • Qualification:

    • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with current Florida licensure.

    • Verifiable experience working with medically compromised, non-verbal pediatric patients, specifically those with feeding tubes (G-tube/J-tube).

    • Experience with EVV ( We use Kantime) 

    • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow specific care protocols.

    • Ability to work independently and manage care needs in a home setting.

    • Professional demeanor, honesty, and excellent communication skills.

    • Timely and reliable with the ability to maintain a consistent schedule.

    • Ability to lift and assist with physical care tasks as needed (including positioning, transferring, etc.).

    • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.

    • Previous experience in Home Health Care preferred, but not required.
