Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the pediatric dentist during examinations and procedures
- Provide chairside support, ensuring a smooth and comfortable experience for patients
- Educate children and parents on proper oral hygiene and post-treatment care
- Take and develop X-rays as required
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sterilized environment
- Accurately document patient information and treatment plans
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Completion of an accredited dental assisting course
- Active licensure in Minnesota, DANB certification, or equivalent state jurisprudence for performing specified tasks
- Current CPR (BLS) certification
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English
- Passion for working with children and ensuring a positive dental experience
- Minnesota Dental Radiology Certificate course to complete X-rays
$27.50 - $35 an hour
