Job Summary:

Geisinger is seeking a BE/BC Pediatric Infectious Disease Physician to join our team in Danville, PA. Opportunity Details:

Schedule rotate between Peds ID physicians
Clinic hours: M-F, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (includes outpatient, inpatient rounding, and Peds ID consults)
Outpatient clinics: rotate among Peds ID physicians
Call coverage: Peds ID physicians and CHOP Peds ID.
Limited O/N call coverage (5 Weekday o/n) and weekend coverage (1 weekend per month)
O/N calls are light; all are phone-call only
Pediatric ID is a consultative service
One physician partner with a collaboration with Pediatric Specialties
Nurse coordinator helps to manage Epic in Basket and referrals
AI dictation
Telemedicine available
41 bed NICU
14 bed PICU
36 beds Children’s 2 and Children’s 3
Pediatric psychologist, nutritional support, pharmacy support, care management support, Peds ID social worker
Affiliation with Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia

Job Duties:

    Geisinger benefits:
