AdventHealth for Children Pediatric ENT seeks a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join their new Pediatric ENT program.
General Summary:
- The NP or PA assists the assigned staff attending in all aspects of patient care. This position involves practice in the clinical setting, including inpatient, ambulatory/outpatient, and pre-operative and post-operative care.
- The practice will involve care and management of patients requiring or consultation for ENT-related diagnoses.
- Care will include performing clinic assessments, admission, history and physicals, daily plan of care, and some minor procedures.
- Practitioner will manage the inpatient course in collaboration with the attending.
- Practitioner will coordinate referrals and follow up on consults to other providers and clinic staff.
- Practitioner will provide emergency room and hospital consultations.
- Practitioners will provide care to ambulatory/ patients when needed in coordination with ambulatory nursing staff.
Schedule Details:
- Campus Covered: AdventHealth Orlando
- Monday to Thursday 8am to 5pm; Friday 8am to 2pm
- Call rotation required
- Rotating holiday call
Required Education/Experience:
- Masters degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies
- 3+ years Pediatric ENT experience required
Licensure, Certification, and Registration:
- Current, valid Florida APRN or PA license
- Certification by NCCPA, ANCC or other national recognized certification organization
- Current BLS and ACLS
