About the Role:Bartley Dentistry in Windsor, CT is looking for a motivated and caring Dental Assistant to join our team! Responsibilities:- Assist the dentist chairside during a variety of dental procedures including cleanings, fillings, and extractions
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and treatment rooms between patients
- Take and develop dental X-rays as directed
- Greet patients, review medical histories, and ensure patient comfort throughout visits
- Document patient records and treatment notes accurately in dental software
- Educate patients on post-treatment care and proper oral hygiene practices
- Manage inventory and order dental supplies as needed
Requirements:- High school diploma or equivalent required; dental assisting certification or training preferred
- Experience as a dental assistant or in a dental office setting is a plus
- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments
- Radiology certification or willingness to obtain one
- Strong interpersonal skills with a warm, patient-centered approach
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Reliable, punctual, and a true team player
