Looking for a warm, high -energy and patient Pediatric Dental Assistant to join our growing team. In this role, you will work closely with the pediatric dentist to deliver exceptional care while making dental visit a fun, positive and stress free experience for children and their families.


RESPONSIBILITIES:


* Provide dedicated chairside assistance during pediatric dental examinations, restorative procedures and surgical treatments.


* Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize dental instruments, and ensure all equiptment is set up prior to patient arrival.


* Greet pediatric patients warmly, use good management techniques to ease anxiety.


* Take good dental x rays.


REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS


* HIgh school diploma or equivalent.


* Completion of an accredited dental assisting program preferred.


* Previous experience working with children, toddlers, or patients with special healthcare needs is highly desired.


* Exceptional interpersonal skills.
