Pediatric Dental Assistant (Part-Time) | $22–$30/hr

Love working with kids? El Segundo Pediatric Dentistry is a boutique pediatric practice where every visit is designed to

feel safe, fun, and positive for children and their families. We're a small, close-knit team, and we're looking for a

warm, upbeat Dental Assistant who lights up around kids and takes pride in great chairside care.

Predictable part-time schedule: about 25–34 hours a week, with no weekends and no early Wednesdays

Pay: $22–$30 per hour, based on experience and RDA status

A small team that has your back: one doctor, one front desk manager, and two assistants

Schedule

Mondays and Thursdays: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Wednesdays: 12:00 PM – 7:00 PM

1–2 Fridays per month: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

What You'll Do

Assist the doctor chairside during exams, cleanings, and treatment visits

Help children feel comfortable, safe, and even excited about their visit

Take and process radiographs

Prepare and sterilize operatories and instruments following infection control protocols

Explain home care to parents and help them feel confident about next steps

Support the front office and team so the day runs smoothly

What You Bring

A warm, patient, upbeat presence with children, including anxious little ones

Reliability and the ability to commit to the schedule above

California Radiation Safety (X-ray) certificate preferred

Nice to have: RDA license, pediatric dental experience
