    Qualifications:
    • Current MD Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license

    Role Overview:
    The Occupational Therapy Assistant works under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist and is responsible for the providing occupational therapy services to supplement the Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). COTA will work collaboratively with a team of therapists, in order for clients to receive comprehensive care.

    Responsibilities:
    • Follow company policies and procedures.
    • Assist the Occupational Therapist in conducting screenings and evaluations.
    • Help clients to improve their fine and gross motor skills.
    • Treat clients with therapeutic and self-care activities.
    • Monitors clients progress to make sure that they re successfully completing treatment.
    • Maintain accurate client records and ensure proper billing and documentation.
    • Safely use departmental equipment for client care.
    • Maintain certification and licensure.
