Pediatric Optical Front Desk Associate

Are you friendly, organized, and passionate about helping children see the world clearly? The Children’s Eye Center of El Paso is seeking a Front Desk Associate to join our pediatric optical team! This is a key role in creating a positive experience for patients and their families from the moment they walk through the door.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients and families with a warm, professional attitude
- Check patients in/out for optical appointments and assist with scheduling
- Collect payments and verify insurance eligibility and benefits
- Maintain accurate patient and billing information in the EMR system
- Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries
- Support the optical team with basic administrative and retail tasks
- Ensure the front desk and optical showroom remain clean, organized, and welcoming
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a medical or optical front desk role preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills, especially with children and families
- Detail-oriented and comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) required
- Familiarity with medical insurance verification and EMR systems a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent required
