Job Title: Community Outreach & Engagement Intern
    Position Type: Full Time
    Company: PDC Performance

About Us: PDC Performance is a Trinity alumni-led and Stumberg award-winning
startup that provides a powerful performance-tracking tool for weight training and
strength sport officiation. The tiny PDC Bluetooth clip, attached via lightweight bands to
the arm or leg, tracks movement data during exercises, and communicates with the free
PDC Performance app to provide real-time feedback and objective performance
    metrics.

Community Outreach & Engagement Intern - This internship provides the opportunity
to have an influential role in developing and expanding the presence of a startup
company through an organic and community-centric approach.

This role will be focused on expanding our online presence and the growing user base
of our app through a community engagement rather than sales-driven approach. Interns
will collaborate with the PDC team to create and implement an effective community
engagement and outreach strategy through 4 approaches:

    1) Repurposing videos from our weekly in-app community leaderboard as social
media posts to attract new users to the app and recognize the exceptional feats
of strength tracked by users of our app.
    2) Reaching out to strength athletes, coaches, and any other leads who would be
most likely to share, review, provide testimonials, or collaborate with us.
Collaborate to create strength-related social media challenges, giveaways, and
other tactics to boost community engagement and interest.
    3) Attending a local powerlifting meet or convention with our team to promote the
device as a training tool as well as its potential as a competition officiation
solution in various strength sports. Help to design display materials and
collaborate on a strategy to demonstrate the app’s most impactful features.
    4) Collaborating with the team to refine our website by streamlining the customer
path, improving aesthetic choices, and updating the front page to include any
    new testimonials and reviews.
